Ansteel Made a Success in 316h Stainless Steel Nuclear Power Fast Neutron Reactor
Currently, Ansteel has successfully achieved the development of 316H Stainless Steel for G4 Nuclear Power Fast Neutron Reactor, and finished the first-round supply, which solved the troublesome difficulties in “Not have to Have”. And Ansteel thus became the only company which manufactured this product with its own strength across the world.

On January 1st of 2019, leaders from Ansteel held a meeting on the production of 316H Austenitic Stainless Steel, and targeted it as the priority project. To meet the needs of the country, the team undertook the research and development, production as well as the supply of the project. During the producing period, the team overcame lots of difficulties including lack of experience, too many involved production companies, complicated process, strict technical requirements and so on. The team used the advantages of the company, and unties with the subsidiaries of Ansteel, it finally confirmed the producing method for 316H Austenitic Stainless Steel and successfully achieved its development and supply.
Next, the steel project team from Ansteel will continue to carry out in-depth research and development on 316H Austenitic Stainless Steel.
